Combined Avinti/NEC Solution Creates 'Always-On' Secure E-Mail Solution to Effectively Block Known, Unknown and Targeted E-mail Attacks

LINDON, Utah (September 12, 2005) – Avinti Inc., a leading provider of e-mail outbreak protection, announced today that the company’s iSolation Server 2.0 software has been certified on the NEC Express5800/320Lb high-availability, fault-tolerant (FT) server platform. Avinti’s iSolation Server running on NEC’s highly available, intelligent, and easily managed server solutions provides enterprises with a highly reliable platform capable of stopping unknown and rapidly changing e-mail attacks. Avinti’s approach to virus outbreak protection is in stark contrast to traditional signature-based anti-virus (AV) systems. Each time a new virus or a new version of an existing virus is identified, AV signatures must be developed and deployed to an enterprise’s security solutions.
